The Process of Building a Drift Car, BMW E92 335i | Part 3

OP OP! Third article about BMW E92 335, where a lot of money has been invested and many upgrades have been made.



Changes to the suspension:

Coilovers were installed, and front control arms from the BMW M3 were added. The difference in the arms: the M3 has a ball joint on the transverse arm instead of a silent block, and their length also differs.


After the suspension upgrades, there was a track day, where a couple of drift practice runs were made, resulting in a lot of emotions, and the suspension settings remained the same.


 

Interior changes:

The decorative wood was wrapped in film, and an M steering wheel was installed.


After 6 months of ownership, Slavic drove 4000 kilometers and realized that the steering wheel was hard to turn, so the power steering pump, reservoir, and fluid were replaced.


Everything that was wanted for the car has been done. The suspension is now stiffer, a large amount of work has been completed, and there are no complaints about the car.
