OP OP! With our team we went to Odessa, to our BMW service station and decided to participate in the race at the 6th kilometer. We went in 2 cars, these are - BMW F30 328 and E92 335.
On the way to Odessa we decided to compare fuel consumption and on the F30 it was 7.5 liters, and on the E92 it was 8.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
Having arrived at the 6th kilometer, the first thing we decided to do was a race BMW F30 328 (350HP) vs E92 335 (400HP) - the first race E92 was first, even from a standstill, and in the second race F30 was first up to 160 km / h, and then E92 overtook.
BMW E92 335 (400HP) vs FORD Mustang (450HP) – the start was very good and synchronous, but then the E92 started to pull away a couple of lengths ahead.
Mercedes C43 AMG (390HP) vs BMW E92 335 (400HP) – the run was moving and the E92 was pulling away from its rival very tightly… After which we did a standing run and the Mercedes was first.
BMW F30 340 (350HP) vs BMW F30 328 (350HP) – the start was smooth, but then the 340 stayed in first place by one length. On the second standing run the cars were driving smoothly, nose to nose.
BMW E60 535d (380HP) vs BMW E92 335 (400HP) – the start was smooth, but then the E92 pulled away very tightly.
BMW F10 530d (340HP) vs BMW F30 328 (350HP) – the race was a walk, at first the F10 breaks ahead, but after 150 km/h our F30 overtakes the rival.
INFINITI (390HP) vs BMW F30 328 (350HP) – our F30 is faster than the rival from the start.
AUDI A6 C7 (420HP) vs BMW F30 328 (350HP) – from a standing start the rival broke ahead, and then we overtook him on the move. In the second run, our F30 was already first from a standing start and the AUDI couldn’t catch up with it in terms of speed.
TESLA S P100D (500HP) vs BMW F30 328 (350HP) – the cars are going almost smoothly, but our F30 is overtaking TESLA in terms of speed.
BMW X5 M F85 (600HP) vs BMW F30 328 (350HP) – the start was smooth, but the X5 was overtaking in terms of speed.
BWM i4 M50 (550HP) vs Tesla Model S P100D (500HP) – BMW was first.
Total: our BMW F30 (Drum) project made us very happy and gave us a lot of cool emotions and provided good competition for Odessa cars.
After arriving in Kyiv after racing in Odessa, we decided to check how much power was left on Stage 3:
- With the exhaust valve closed, there were 348 horsepower.
- With the exhaust valve open, there were 355 horsepower.
With the valve closed, the car's torque is less, so with such tuning, it is recommended to make a straight-through pipe.
