Since I have many projects and can’t manage to drive them all, they often just sit idle. Therefore, we decided to offer this BMW F30 328 project as a loaner car at BMW Service Kyiv (Beresteiska). The car was previously tuned with Stage 3 software, which we downgraded to Stage 1, but kept the xHP Stage 3 transmission chip + Drag Mode.
Preparing the car for loaner use:
The car comes with many cool options, including LED headlights, sport seats, LED instrument panel, M-steering wheel, sport gear selector, NBT EVO with CarPlay option, BUT it was missing parking sensors and a rearview camera.
Installing parking sensors and a rearview camera
To equip these features, we purchased a front sensor wiring harness, four front sensors, a harness for two rear units, a panel and button for parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a control unit for it.
The cost for this setup is around $1000.
A few issues with the car were resolved: the interior door handles were replaced, original floor mats installed, trunk shocks and trunk release button replaced, passenger visor swapped due to a damaged mirror, comfort access fixed, full interior detailing and washing done, a complete suspension check, and full technical maintenance completed.
