OP OP! Let’s talk about the import of the BMW G30 540 from the USA.
The owner wanted to import a G30 with a good configuration, saving money on the import and restoration, and was ready to wait for the right lot.
The car was ordered a couple of months before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and was supposed to arrive in Ukraine on March 8th, but it was delivered in June. The lot was won for $12,500, a 2017 model with 107,000 km of mileage.
Shipping cost:
$2,000 – container redirect to Poland.
$850 – container waiting and opening.
$700 – delivery from Poland to Kyiv.
$5,600 – customs clearance.
The impact was to the front, damaging the hood, headlight, grille, bumper, and the fender lip was bent. The wheels were slightly misaligned due to suspension issues. All safety systems inside the cabin were triggered, the windshield was cracked, and all radiators were damaged.
Configuration: M-package, LED adaptive headlights, door soft-closing, surround view, projection, M steering wheel, B58 engine.
Parts cost for G30:
Fender – $100
Hood – $500
Right headlight – $650
Front mounting panel – $150
Bumper assembly – $300
After inspecting and diagnosing the car on the lift, a broken front right wheel disc was found, a damaged brake line, two cracks in the front subframe, a broken engine mount, a bent front right transverse arm, and a couple of damaged rear suspension arms.
After technical repairs at our service, the car will go to the body shop for painting and straightening of the body parts.
