We have found a unique BMW X5 F15 with a 3.0-liter diesel engine for you. Despite a mileage of over 200,000 kilometers, we are confident in its reliability. The owner has driven it for over a year, and now we’ll tell you how much money he invested during this time and whether the choice of the 3.0-liter diesel was justified.
This car is interesting because it was imported from America and is not damaged. The current owner purchased it already in Ukraine. It’s a 2014 model with a mileage of 192,000 km and was bought for 35,000 dollars.
Criteria for choosing a car when buying:
- 3.0-liter diesel (N57)
- Excellent condition (Not a damaged car from the USA)
- Comfortable seats
- Projection display
- Four cameras
In Ukraine, there were only about 10 of these cars with a diesel engine, and none of them had the configuration the owner wanted. The owner had considered buying a gasoline car with an N55 engine, but in time he found the model he wanted.

Over the year, the total cost of maintenance was 1150$, including two standard services and one major one. No serious repairs were done on the car, and there are no leaks. The suspension from America turned out to be in good condition, so after 20,000 km, only three control arms and two steering rods were replaced, costing 620 dollars.
No tuning was performed on the car. Other expenses amounted to 2200$, which includes insurance, winter, and summer tires.
Fuel consumption of the 3-liter diesel engine (N57) is up to 10 liters per 100 km.
Thus, the BMW X5 proved to be a worthwhile choice with no major problems. When comparing the E70 and F15 models with a mileage of around 200,000 km, the F15 looks fresher and more reliable.
